The TL50 series one doesn't have the LTD electric seat set up,or the sunroof .Has the dark interior. The TL is build number 25. It was owned by a real estate guy, who ordered it new from the dealership. He even got a tracking system installed.

Hay blackers10, that Fairlane of yours is a cool looking ride. I'm looking at having a total 4 v8 AU fairlanes all up. I have the 2 TL50s & the ltd fairlane.
Just have to find a really good v8 Sportman. _

The T1 TL50 I have has the 4way electric seat, not the LTD 6way seats. All T1 & T2 TLs came with the 4way electric set up. The T3 TL should have the 6way electric seat set up.Shaynet's T3 TL50 has the 6way electric seats. All the TL50s should have come with the 6way electric seats, : but Ford wanted to save ****y $1800. Both of my TL50s doesn't have the sunroof.

Sorry to have to correct here,
But I think you mean the tl's have the 6 way seats ie: Front half up & Down of the bottom seat back half of seat up & Down and also the slide forward and back motion this equates to six motions hence called the 6 way seat..

Ford has never made a 4way electric seat... All for the bottom end seats were 6 then they added another 4 with the top or the back rest moving back and forward and also the lumbar support motion...

Cheers Rick...

P.s My TL50 has the 6 way seats....

No...from what i believe and from all the TL's i've seen they've all had the carbon fibre accents...
I'd be honestly leaning towards the opinion that someone has replaced the trims with woodgrain before it was let go..... or maybe even someone at the auctions..

You could possibly call ford with your vin number, or also if you pull the cover off the inside of the bootlid you will find a sheet of paper with all the options the car came from factory with..
Just out of curiosity... what series is your TL50 and also did you buy it brand new from ford, if not, where did you purchase it from?
cheers

It's not actually carbon fibre or even faux carbon fibre just a weird pattern T1 TE50s got a pattern called Urban Geometric which is a sort of crisscross checkered pattern, all other T-series apart from the T3 TE50 that had nothing got another called raindrops which is a pattern made up of lots of semi circles.

Yeah i know that.. but it's just a bit easier to describe it as carbon fibre (look).. rather than trying to distinguish between or describe it any way else..

KRISTO,your Fairlane looks very cool. :sm_headba Your Fairlane will out handle & out run a TL50 easy. With the mods I have done to my Fairlane few years back,it out handles both of my TL50s.But it can't out run my T2 TL, because Rob Herrod had beefed up the power output. That TL was his.
Both my TLs are missing that sheet of paper from the boot lid,but my Fairlane has it.

Hi Sox,

.... yes #008 was my old TL50.

I sold it when I got my FG XR6 Turbo.

Would have kept the TL50 however I didn't have enough room in my garage and didn't want to see it sitting outside in the elements.

Was a great car and I was very dissapointed when I let it go. But the good news was it went to a great new owner
