I think the lack of a turbo probably changes the premium a fair bit haha... and they are fairly cheap cars from what I've seen.

I was paying just over $1000 a year for insurance through just car for my lane ..and I'm 23 with no accidents or loss of licence etc..

the box has mechanical shift kit, extra clutch packs, and about well.. 3k worth of reciepts ...

dunno what ill do with the skirt and AU3 wagon skirts I have sitting here (they were destined for debs car but dunno if we will yet.)

the rims.. deb wants my rims.. but deb wants to get rid of hers as they are a lil worse for wear.. the chrome has been eaten a fair bit by brake dust being left on them(prev owner of rims).. prolly after $500 or so for debs rims (Tyres are stuffed(damn camber)

The BTR 4 speed in Brendens car has had a lot of work thrown at it. Half the things were made by the workshop, and was built to handle 450hp day in day out behind a a turbo AU. The things is pretty crazy, and I would love it if I had the money.

Shame about the car, but good to know you're Ok.

Hopefully it's written off. Offer the insurance company $1200 for the wreck and go from there - you might be surprised at how little you'll get it for - 20% salvage fee is not uncommon. I offered $500 for an EA2 insured for $3.5k a few years ago, and the offer was accepted; I declined to go through with it though (too much work to fix/part out in the end).

How much did you have to pay for the wreck (if you don't mind me asking, that is).
