sr20DRT out of a nissan make .... is all I can find on google .
depending on engine bay room in your escort ... you buy a donor car or half cut ..it will be a lot cheaper . #engine alone = $1,649.99 up to $2,199.00 its a dohc then you need the ECU , engine wiring loom ,dyno tuning, gearbox change and diff maybe

Hi. If you start with a RWD donor car (200 sx springs to mind) then engine gearbox and diff are all sorted, just weld in enough of the floor pan to make all the mechanical bits bolt in. If you use the nissan ECU then you wont need to dyno/tune unless you mod something. Cheers MD

If i remember correctly when i looked into it a couple of years ago before i sold my mk2 i was told budget for around 15-20g.
Engine (mounts, ecu etc), 5spd, shortened hilux diff, auto box tunel (to fit bigger 5 spd.. that may have also included fixing the body up a bit as well though.
