What Mods Can You Do to a 87 Lazer GL
my mate has just got one and he whats to know what mods you can do to it without Going to Extreme like turboing it!!

Bigger carby/exhaust, cams, etc.
Or B6 EFI 1.6L SOHC from a KC/E TX3, B6D EFI 1.6L DOHC From a Ford Capri or import 323, BP 1.8L DOHC from a KF/H TX3 or Mazda Astina SP. |

That's pretty much it, apart from the bolt-on bits, its not worth getting an identical EFI-powered sohc 1600cc, the power increase is insignificant for the hassle involved.
BP dohc 1800cc is possible, I have done it, but required a lot more work than people with "experience" suggested. Keyboard warriors who never attempted the conversion with their own two hands said it would be easy. Unless you want to go all out on a sub-standard platform, i'd suggest upgrading to something else first, maybe a KH/BG 4WD
