Looks really nice! Looks a lot like JC's XR8 in fact! So you are in good company!

Cheers,

I like the BF XR wheels on it, it really suits it.
Not a fan of the sticker on the rear window though. But hey it's not my car.

I thought they were BF wheels but didn't want to sound silly in case they were an option from a Series 2 or 3 XR! LOL! In any case, they look really good!

I actually liked the sticker, although I would have placed it down the bottom of the glass. Each to their own I guess! :Reverend:

Its nice dude.

I'd prob lower it and pop on a rear spoiler to add that little bit extra.

The Tickford sticker is ok but prob not the best when you're trying to look behind you.

im actually a big fan of cars with big lower body kits, as long as they arent ridiculous like some of the Jap cars, without the rear spoiler. SO I personally dont think it looks that bad. Having said that I drove mine around for a day without a spoiler, and I had no idea where the back of my car was.

Tim - it looks great. The best thing I like about it is your old kit is now on my car!

You need to add a shot front them front as well. The back looks great, but I bet the front looks fan-bl0ody-tastic!

This would be a sort of before shot of yours then (though I only have a little spoiler).

It's half repaired. I fixed the split from the inside with fibregalss repair kit, but still need to sand it, prime it and paint the repair properly (it's too cold really to do it now - maybe in a month or so when the temp in Canberra stays above 10 for more than an hour per day). Bits and pieces of the side skirts etc have been quickly touched up just so the car is all one colour, but I want to do a full respray next year, so that will do for the moment.

You end up with stone chips no matter what you do with a car - maybe a car bra is the go for those highway trips? Buckie got one done specifically for the XR50 bar, so PM him (Bucknaked) for further info.

Looks really nice, the lights and sticker are a bit in your face for my style but still a very nice car. The body kit looks great. Good one on not doing the rear spoiler, I'm not a fan of them myself.

Dang JC, that car looks great!

I hope to see it and Bucky's car up close and personal around the 25th or 26th. The family and I are cruising up to Junee around then, and hope to make an overnight trip to Canberra on the above dates. They are a Mon and Tuesday, but if we make the trip further North to Canberra, perhaps we could catch up for a BBQ or something? At least the Canberra weather should be less than deathly cold then! LOL!

We've had snow in September a few years ago, so don't expect the weather to improve much in the next 3 weeks. Would be good to catch up with you if you're up this way. Perhaps dinner at one of the local clubs might be the go - it's really not BBQ weather (drops to under 5 degrees by 6.00pm most days). PM me (to remind me) a day or two before you leave and I'll see what Bucky and I can organise. Just remember that when you look at Bucky's car, then mine, some of my parts used to be his (especially the front of the wagon)!
