Another reason I want the compression kept the same is because im looking at bolting on a Vortech S trim blower later on down the track.. one of the main reasons I want a 'full' rebuild..

Will be almost time for another phone call I think.. Will have a budget to work with by April..
Depending on the stock pistons strength you can carefully flycut them a little.A built engine should have A/market pistons anyway.
I'd like to see a camshaft from Hell in it with the manual combo & make some real power.Only problem is that big cams & low compression = low cylinder pressure & a lack of engine efficiency especially at low engine speeds, you really need a combination using more compression with a larger cam.

ok yep I follow..
a cam from hell sounds liek fun.. maybe i should just focus on one for now, the s/c is still a way off, was just thinking lower comp to make it easier in the future, but if its gonna make it a pig n/a, will just have it built properly n/a and re - address the compression issue when its time to go the forced induction route, its still a way off yet, but its on the books.. the rebuild will and I want it to happen in April/May..

I tell you what Stiddy, You wont be sorry if you let the G&D boys build your engine. They know their stuff.

It all comes done to how much money you have to spend.

Top quality parts will always cost money.....
As most people know there are always ways to cut corner's and save a buck. Been there done that.
And in the end I would have been better off spending the extra at the time...

Cheers...Kev

I can just imagine the grin now and how excited he would be talking to you about going sick on a I6.

I am hoping for around 150rwkw from an AU1 5 Speed XR6 VCT, so hopefully this is possible without a cam change (are there even change over cams?), or head work.
G&D VCT cams are ready to go.

Unfortunately with performance industry pricing being very competitive we can't afford to discount & pay the right staff & have the right equipment to deliver the best results. We can occasionally offer bonus's on a wide scale every so often to help out as for the month of march.

We can guarantee that we will deliver the best customer service, best performance & best race track support you'll get anywhere in the country. We never rest & continually R&D,we are dedicated to getting the best result for our customers.

Cheers

I've seen some of the prices.. its cheaper than many of the more commonly known places anyhow.. at least for us I6 owners. Considerably cheaper in most cases.

For anyone questioning prices, you normally only get what you pay for and quality cost more than rubbish.

Hi Guys,

Have you done any flash tuning work on a T3 ?
What sort of gains should I expect from a flash tune on my stock T3 auto ?
What should I expect from an exhaust and flash ?

Below is the dyno printout from my car.
