ORSM v HSV DECA Day

it's time to renew our rivalry with the HSV Club, they have invited us to their DECA day on the Queens birthday sunday, 13th June.

format will be as per previous years with us in our own group, i don't have the full cost yet but similar to last years $60 i'd say. on top of this if you don't have 1 you will need to purchase on the day a AASA licence, $50 for 12 months.

for those who bought a AASA licence last year it should still be valid.
a CAMS licence would also be sufficient.

i'm still finalising all the details so am unsure of the numbers that will be able to attend

if your interested in going put your name down & if you will be competing or will be able to do the time keeping.

the HSV Club usually put on a bbq but are considering getting catering for lunch, cost $5-10 a head. would you be interested in this?

That license that is required, can we just get that on day or pay fee etc to cover it.

You normally get to have 3 runs for every activity. So you can go for it for the 1st & 2nd and have some fun for the 3rd run or, change it around as you see fit. Dont forget there's always the expression session at the end of the day. Lets see if you can keep it side ways all the way around without getting foot happy. Its heaps of fun.

i will have 2 list running from now, 1st for ORSM members & the other for club member friends & past/non members.
when i know the final allocation of numbers friends & non members will then be considered & invited. remember this is not our event but the HSV club

update.
we have been allocated 20 - 30 spots. Cost is $55

Lunch is included, BBQ snags, burgers and vegi burgers and a drink, free for drivers, nominal charge (maybe just a gold coin) for guests / family. Also a coffee truck will be there from 8 to help fire every body up! Tea and coffee available all day.

Please note all drivers must enter and have licenses, AASA rules.

Best you bring Helmet’s for drivers and passengers in case they are needed, or maybe just a few that can be shared if needed.

Passengers will need to sign an indemnity prior to any rides. AASA to provide these prior to the event.

I'd like to come have some fun... The old XY is not the most competitive car out there but i'll have fun anyways.. I better get doing some gym, cones and no power steering will be fun!
