You missed my point. My point being, while other countries impose tarriffs and other measures on imported vehicle our country does absolutely nothing to assist the local industry. On one hand we have the Federal Government giving hundreds of millions of dollars to Toyota, Holden and Ford, state and government agencies place thousands of orders for Hyundai i30's, Subaru XV's and so on and so forth. The lack of support from most levels of government is astounding.

The government isn't there to save the industry, Ford is it's own worst enemy, but orders from government agencies could have gone a long way to support the industry.
