Default WANTED: ZF/ZG (XA/XB) Front Bench Seat

Just putting some feelers out there.

I am after a bench seat to suit a ZF Fairlane. Looking for something complete, if all the belts are there then thats a bonus.

Trim code is S but I will more than likely get it redone anyway.

If anyone had any contacts it would be much appreciated.

I have found once in VIC but was hoping there would be something closer to QLD or in Saddle already.

Cheers

Yeap. Used one from an XB then got it recovered.

I have a thread in the project cars section with some pics.

Ive seen a few on FB of late, in the XA/B/C owners groups and Ford Parts Sales etc

No piece of cake, fitted up to all the factory holes, I bought a new nut and bolt kit just to be sure.

I also swapped my rails from the buckets to the bench, again, all fitted perfectly.

I used to do a modification to the front seats on every XB/XC/XE cars I ever had.

If the slides fitted from the buckets it should work with the bench also.

On the rear of each pair of sliders there are a couple of brackets that bolt them to the floor.
There is a longer one and a shorter one. Take both off and chuck the longer one away. Use the shorter one in the same position that the longer one was in. Use nothing on the other side (where the shorter one was) Then simply bolt the seat back in.
You end up with the rear of the seat much lower and get fantastic support for your legs, just behind the knee.
