Default Au ute sports bar removal

I have to remove my tub liner to check the fuel pump sender unit as is shows empty when full , The bolts holding the sport bar on keep spinning
and won't undo ,
any clues would be great as car requires a RWC and can't get it with a dodgy fuel gauge

The nuts used to hold the sports bar are not captive. You will need to get a spanner up under the inner guards to hold the nut. You will also need to do this for the nuts at the front of the tub as well.

Just taking the tub liner out won't give you access to the fuel pump.
You will be able to drill out spot welds that hold the tray floor down though.

Thanks for the help ,it's a lot of work to get a fuel gauge working now considering selling without a RWC

Or try a normal workshop that won't pick on fuel gauge for RWC.
