Are they an expensive project? Who did them for you?

Another good deed I'm responsible for, I love it :P

You can get them done for around $600+ in a good 7-10 year 3m vinyl and Signs Ahead in Kewdale did mine for me. Takes about a day, bit of work but if it's what you like I say do it! It would be cheaper for just the 2 bold stripes but looks heaps better with the bordering ones. I had just the two for years and got the thinner ones added this year- loads better I reckon.

Try Photoshopping them a little bit wider and slightly closer together- really fattens up the look.

Post a pic in the photoshop section and ask the guys to do a few colours- they will make the difference on your car and there's some really talented guys here.

Foxy went silver the same as mine on his venom red T3 and Bucky went a charcoal on Black which looked really good too- a graphite/charcoal colour on the silver would probably look a better balance but ask them to try a few different colours.........

Good luck mate

Go both,if you have seen/heard and felt the difference a shaker makes in the flesh you would not even ask the question.I want stripes as well but want to come up with a package a bit different to everyone else.Is your car...do what you want.Just my pennys worth.

In those pics, the shaker looks the better option.

But if they'll end up anything like Bucky's car, go the stripes!

I do wonder what both would look like though! LOL!

Really? That's ridiculous. Did they say why?

Geez these insurance companies are getting out of control- they told me they wouldn't insure a lowered vehicle even if it was legal height. When I asked why, they said it makes it a more likely target of malicious damage- maybe this is the same?

Meaning that if it was sitting alone in a car park and looked nicer it was more likely to be vandalised. :

Both would look nice but the stripes looked fantastic on Bucky's car- don't listen to Casper- he's got it in for anything that makes it look better :P

Yeah bloody insurers. ridiculous. I have however heard that Shannons are pretty good but still dont insure if you have a Carbon fibre Bonnet. Something to do with non airbag compliant.

Oh well Im pretty keen to get the stripes done just have to wait for HLC to do a photshop.

Being the authority on stripes that I am ()) I would say a gunmetal/graphite/charcoal grade of medium to dark grey

The black may be a bit too much on the liquid silver. If it was meterorite the black would look great, but might be too much contrast on the light silver IMO. May be wrong though.......

Stripes... but done in the same style of Jimt3te50's with the pin stripes either side of the larger ones.

Shaker is a big fat no on an AU..BA..BF..Etc in my books...

here ya go. i change change the stripes to any colour if you want....

i dont think the XR shape lends itself to stripes all that well. but hey, it could be my dodgy chop. there are a couple of rough parts, sorry, got a little distracted with band stuff about halfway through... but i guess it gives you a decent idea.
