Default Lean cruise?

The more I read, the more 'Lean Cruise' pops up, but I can't seem to find anything as to what it does and the conditions that activate it.

Anyone have any insights?

Are you refer to lean fuel to air ratio?
on light throttle cruise the fuel mixture should be held mid to lean by the ECU program and sencors for the cat to work.

AU falcon is a lean burn engine.

In ECU controlled engines, the fuel mixture will lean out a little (more air / less fuel) when light throttle is applied (maintain speed) in order to gain better fuel economy.

I see.
From the wording of what I read, I was under the impression that it was some new fandangled technology.
Guess it's just the marketing for the ECU doing what ECU's generally do for efficiency.
