Default Is it worth anything or should I set it on fire?

I have a 2012 Mondeo Zetec Petrol Turbo.
A couple of weeks ago the motor died at around 110,000km. It has a hole in the back of the block, somewhere around the oil filter I think the mechanic said. Why? Anyone's guess. It was running slightly roughly at idle, cutting out at low revs occasionally. It was taken to a mechanic and he found the oil low. He serviced it and 5 days later it just unceremoniously lost power and died.

Is this car likely to be worth anything to anyone of should we just send it to the crusher? That would be a pity as it is otherwise fine. No-one has suggested that it is worth repairing due to the labour cost alone. Cars seem to be so throw away these days.

Body & interior is pretty good for age (Midnight Sky). We are not interested in selling parts. We have withdrawn the rego. Before anyone asks the car is located on the Northern Tablelands of NSW.
