Default surging and poor running under loaf

So yesterday while going over the mountains over nowendoc I had a slight problem involving poor running. Up the hill which is one massive up hill climb I had an issue with surging and lack of power. Struggled to top 40 and had to be manual put in 3rd go avoided constantly changing gears. This was accompanied with all manner of warning lights.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever had these kind of issues. Has had a service 5000 ago which included a diesel filter.

on a serious note, did it just happen out of the blue ? had you recently put fuel in it ? perhaps you got a bit water in the go juice and it sucked a bit up when you started going into the hills ? running ok now ???

Haha yer was multi grain. Saw that after I wrote it but was stuffed after putting up gyprock all day so was like meh. Out of the blue. Had almost half tank of fuel. Hadn't done it's particle filter at the time as it had been done the day before. Might have ducked some water. Have to run back over the mountains so will have to see how it runs with a fresh tank.

Geez issues under load, fuel pressure and or fuel pressure regulator, turbo, fuel, injector/s, particulate filter, EGR valve, vacuum leak, other...

though some you'd think a code would have been thrown.

Best way to describe is like a falcon with a crook coil or 2 and running on 4 or 5 cylinders. Battery charge light and yellow engine. We're 2 from memory.
