Default My heart becomes flooded with sadness

Well Chaps, as soppy as the title seems, it is actually true. I took a deposit on my 08 Mondeo TDCI hatch today after three years of the most pleasurable motor vehicle ownership experience one could ask for.

What a great car! Fuel efficient, comfortable, well specced, super tight handling and great looks. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed how much further you can drive in the Mondeo versus many other cars, fatigue sets in much later because the car is such a pleasure to drive.

I sold it as we are trying to save to move to acreage, yet I know I will regret this decision for the rest of my life, such is the admiration I have for this car.

I'll be downgrading to a BA falcon probably, and I know I won't ever come across such an outstanding car for the measly price tag Ford puts on it.

This could, and should, have been Australias best selling car if some marketing dollars had been sunk into it.

Life goes on I suppose. Enjoy your weekends.

Cheers,
Brett
