It was a great day. I took so many photos I ran out of space on my camera (over 300 shots). The quality and quantity of cars has trippled in the last few years. I was almost embarrassed to turn up in my car.....Next time I wont park in-btwn 2 freshly restored RS2000's :hihi:

Ok, I now have my pics up. In this thread I will stick to the old school small Fords
Mark 1 rally car  German Mk2 RS2000  Second German Mk2 RS2000. Both these cars were part of the batch of 25 brought in to homologate the car for Bathurst.  "HUSLN8", a Mk2 panelvan with a 5L V8 and lots of custom work (bit of an understatement there!)  Mk1 Estate stretch

2 nice V6 GT's  A Mk3 and a Mk2  Another Mk1 V6 GT (nice turquoise colour)  Back of a V6 GT  Mk3 3.0 Ghia  Mk3 1.6, yep someone imported a base model car - very nice condition though and very original

Back to couple more V6 GTs
  A track car featuring a 3.0 alloy Duratec V6 from an Escape - weighs less than a Pinto engine apparently  Mad twin turbo V6  Flared guards all round  Here's an old-school turbo set up if ever I saw one, 2 turbo's, 4 Stromberg carbies, no intercooler just straight into the motor  To make sure the grunt sticks to the road... 265mm wide tyres

 Mk1 GT Cortina  To get into some newer cars - an Escort Mk3 RS Turbo  Sierra RS Cosworth  Sierra Cosworth Sapphire sedan  Escort RS Cosworth  Sierra Cosworth RS500  A few big spoilers on the homologation Cosworth models (and interloper Laser TX3 4wd Turbo)

Small Ford Sunday is unique to Melbourne. Basically the RSOCVIC invited all the other local small ford clubs to join them on the one day at the one venue. Now it is the biggest event in Australia. I started attending as a spectator over ten years ago, before it was SFS and it was being held at Eltham. It goes back even further as the Capri Concours before that.
I would suggest folks in other states to lobby your local clubs to get together to put on your own SFS. Many folks from interstate travel to attend this event, which is good for Melbourne people, but I wouldn't mind travelling to other states to see what else is on offer. So get down your local club and start getting things moving. |

im not stupid i realise that most people have 2 doors....but when you r my age u think well in a couple of years ill have my license and when im doin partys and stuff with my mates it will get annoying to have to put the seats down every time someone needs to stop.....and imstartin to think that i should have got a mk2 instead of my mk1....did i pay to much.....$1299
