So much car for so little money. Apparently its an older shape Mercedes retooled by Ssangyong. I wonder if Mercedes panels could be slapped back on to make it look half decent... |

Good luck getting spares for it, it wasn't an AU market car for memory so that one must be a grey import
Stick with the Lexuses (Lexii?) if you want later model Asian luxo barge stuff

I've seen a couple of these on the road. One had the badges changed to read Mercedes E350 or something and had the 3 pointed star...lol.
That is a lot of car though for the money. But I agree with Road Warrior about getting parts. |

They were sold here, but only for a few years.

Yeah same as the Ssanyong Jeeps that are Merc ML rip offs. Plenty of those getting around with Merc badges.

a previous employer used to have a Ssanyong franchise as part of its lineup, and the in house joke went along the lines of "How do you get a small Ssanyong dealership? Start with a large one!"
