Default B-Series State of Origin Meet, Coffs Harbour, November 07

Ok Folks, been chatting away with some QLD and NSW folks, and it seems the NSW Boys miss us QLD folk and we all decided we need a meet and greet, there is a lot of us that have never met before, and it would be a great chance to go for a nice easy drive, spend a night or two, talk B-Series. and make some new friends.

I propose we maybe leave a Friday morning, arrive Coffs Harbour around Lunch time, check into hotels / cabins / campsites and then all check eachothers rides out somewhere.

The first night may get a bit hazy, the second day we can go sightseeing before the rest on the sat night for the drive home sunday afternoon.

Obviously we intend to give heaps of notice, several months in fact.

Who is interested and can suggest some locations, meets, carparks, hotels etc.....

Too good to pass up. Windmill Hotel is a ripper. Nice secluded carpark.....

You "commoon" Qlders can get to see some NSW shenanigans....

We will have to dedicate a ute to luggin Krispy Kreme but.

have to check the route out too. Need to check for regular Maccas or KFC stores for valuable rest stops....

definently interested, especially as "plenty of notice" means during the warmer months.. it'd been a bit chilly down south!

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

So Far so good guys, Ive checked Wotif.com and it seems theres a lot of Budget Accomodation in and around Coffs Harbour.

Dates, who would Prefer the weekend of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th, The 9th, 10th and 11th, or the 16th, 17th, and 18th of November.

I will make a few phone calls later in the week regarding accomodation, see if I can organsie some deals, though ill need to have a rough idea of numbers, what I think I will do is get a few quotes for a few different places and supply you guys the information and let you sort accomodation out yourself.

So far members that have Expressed their Interest include:

QLD
84RGE - Mick
TUF240 - Michael
Dave XR - Dave
f6 typhoon - Chris
RACE38 - Phil
BluXr6 - Jeff
Burnedout

NSW
Bluehoon - Ben
Grum - Greg
Airmon - Clay
Ruger - George
John_xr6t - John

As a incentive for the QLDers I have been assure by Bluehoon that he is definately bringing a large supply of Krspy Kremes.

We are going to need an Event name and a Tag line to go along with this cruise people!

This looks like a sweet cruise, even better for me as I'm in the middle of acquirring a Phase 3 setup for my XR6T : Hello fun

So I will most definately need to have a date so I can organise time off, or even have a half day. I usaully finnish at 2.30pm on Fridays.

But if nothing goes wrong, I'm in for sure with lots of Autotech Phase 3 goodness :
