When you have a chance chuck up a side shot of the car to get a better view of the wheels..

Enjoy the little fiesta

Nice, gaarat, was actually looking at those wheels myself earlier this week with a thought of them for my own FiST! Quite like the OZ wheels, had the superturismos on my Focus. But will just plasti-dip the stocks over Christmas, a nice gloss black and some orange paint on the calipers, should suit the car.

GeeDub, how does the add on front lip effect your clearance on the front end? I have noticed that mine rubs on various driveways as stock.

Splitter drops it another 50mm and adds extra overhang.

You have to be very careful with entry angles...

Here's a closer pic of the O.Z Leggendras, my phone wont take a decent pic from the side the rims just look like solid black circles.

Not to my personal taste. I like the black rims but not the disc but at the centre of the rim. I wish ford offered a stock black rim.

There more of a track inspired wheel, almost a replica of the motorsport version for the street.

Carried out some Mods on my FiST yesterday, plasti dipped the rims and painted up the calipers, Heres some shots i took throughout the day,

All jacked up!

All masked up for the Caliper paint,

Some of my excessive masking, but hey it's easier to overmask, than remove any overspray!

Wheels cleaned and ready for plasti dip!

After 5 coats of dip!

After 1 coat of gloss on left V the Matte

Painted Caliper!

All back together!

Was a bit dull yesterday evening so the final shot isn't as good as I would like, will give car a wash 2mor and get some better shots.
I am quite happy with the results I have gotten, this plasti dip stuff is awesome. each wheel got 5 coats of Black plasti dip and 2 coats of glossifier, even turned the wheels around when they were done on the front and put a nice thick coat inside the dish, so when your close to the car the entire wheel is black not just the face! used 3 cans of dip and 1/2 can of glossifier, also about 1/2 can of H.T caliper paint, cost me >$150 for all the materials and took me and a mate roughly 8 hrs, from the time I drove into his unit, to the time I drove out. Mind you a lot of the 8hrs, was drying time between coats!

Looks good Deadly. Are the rear calipers white?

Plastic dip looks good, how long is it expected to last before it looks a bit scuffed etc?

No, they are painted orange too! must be the poor light.

From what I have read on the plasti dip, some say a few months, some say a few years, I've got a total of 7 coats on there, so I expect it to last for some time, but they are very easy to repair because plasti dip does not follow any of the conventional paint rules, and spot touch ups blend right it, it's quite an amazing product and I didn't really believe alot of what I had read or seen until I used it myself!
Gonna add some orange alloy gators next week if I like the look of em when I offer them up!

Wow that looks awesome. You should get the black DMB gel overlays for the wheel caps also to finish off the look.

Are all FoST like that? I've only seen the yellow one in the flesh and I don't remember the roof being black.

Oooo another Blue! I had the only blue one in QLD until December. Hopefully there's enough of us to create cruises and meets. But not too many, I wouldn't want to be seeing at least 2 every time I drive , much like the GT86/ BRZ... They are the new assholes!
