why is it that if I am in FB marketplace and click on a photo to save it will save as a jpeg and then I can do anything with it.
however if I go to Gumtree or carsales or whatever and click on a pic it saves it as a WE?? something GOOGLE file and you cannot do anything with it. fair crack sauce bottle, I get so annoyed with goigle. Then can I somehow change google file photos into jpeg?

Go into the carsales listing, click on the image to bring up the image viewer. You'll have the row of thumbnails across the bottom. Right click the thumbnail and save image, you'll have the full size image.

go to the gumtree listing, click on the image to bring up the image gallery, right click the actual image rather than the thumbnails in the row below, you should have the option to save the image.

Perhaps if you tell us what system you're running (Windoze or Fruit) and what browser, some of the more IT inclined here may be able to help sort it.

windows 8 / 9 ?? not 10 i know that.
browser... google ?? dont shoot me, what do I know?? my grandchildren are 800K away.

If still having issues...Use the 'snipping tool' then save as Jpeg
