Seen plenty in Brisbane, but it's off and on. One day I saw 3 of them in one day and then it was about 3 weeks before I saw another. I wonder if the delay from overseas is the problem?

The reason I asked is that all dealers keep telling me they cannot get enough of them and are running out of stock I think they are lying JMHO even the Ford run out sale does not even include the Mondeo even though the ad say's the ENTIRE Ford range

I know what you mean - I live in Western Sydney and do around 800km a week. I've been on the lookout for Mondeos ever since I ordered mine back in the beginning of November. Since then I can remember individually each on I've seen. The total in that 7 month period is 7.

At least I feel like I'm driving something exclusive and rare - I've seen way more Ferraris in that time period!

I saw a Mondeo on the road for the first time last Monday. I wonder where they all are too.

I hope it takes off as I don't want an orphan like the last attempt at selling the brand name.

In recent months I have seen only one TDCi (in the school car park.) I also spotted a Zetec in ACT around Christmas, probably a demo. My good lady spotted an XR at the weekend. I drive from NW Sydney to Blue Mountains most days so I am also surprised not to have seen more.

I see one everyday - mine.

Although I have seen a few, mainly on freeways. Not more than two hand fulls since I got mine in January.

We have enough petrol models in stock, it is the TDCi Hatch that is hard work.

The TDCi in general is where the shortage is. And that's the one in greatest demand,

If they bring the diesel wagon out here then you'll see them.

I spoke to a dealer about the mondoe and he said ford don't advertise them enough, here we go again with the advertising department (or lack of)

I noticed a few of us seem to be in, or travel in, the Penrith area: perhaps we are only seeing each other!

Yep, I've been thinking that too! Work in Glenbrook, travel the Northern Rd - I've seen one Mondeo coming down Lapstone Hill as I was going up it, and another (black XR5) did a U-ey in front of me near Penrith plaza - those are 2 of my 7 sightings!

I've seen HEAPS. XR5's, TDCi's, sedans and hatches. Even the odd LX. Now by heaps, maybe 20 or 30, it's hardly common yet but Ford are definitely struggling to get stock to satisfy demand!

Saw my second ever Mondeo in Katoomba today around 3pm heading west. It was a darkish metallic red colour.

I just got back from a drive from Brisbane to Port Douglas yesterday, and after being on the road for 4 1/2 days I think I saw one or two Mondeo's, and they were both what looked to be the older HB series. Surprisingly so few. Interestingly, I saw heaps of Nissan Maximas on the trip.

Silver (not sure which model) on Bells Line of Road this am. Sadly I was in a loan Focus whilst some trim issues are being sorted so missed on opportunity to be "spotted" myself.

Whenever I see a Mondeo I wonder if it's one of your guys, everyone should post pics of their car to we know

It was a dark blue TDCi travelling on Picton road, then went south after Mt Ousley sometime last week.

Smile Where are they - Ask Woolworths

Im based in the Hawkesbury and travel to Penrith daily and only rarely I see a Mondeo. I think we are just seeing our own cars from the forum. NOTE: I have been told that Woolworths have ordered a large shipment of top end Mondeo's for their reps thus a short supply in this area. Something like 300 have been ordered.

Saw my third one today (interesting that the three sightings have all been in the last two weeks or so) near Lawson in the Blue Mountains: a Thunder grey one. It had NSW yellow and black number plates which looked awful against the car colour. I'm glad our dealer threw in the black and white plates in the deal.

According to VFacts, Ford is only selling around 300 a month. That across Oz you won't see them on the road as a Ford , Holden etc. Ford said they need to sell 500 a month to maintain a viable business proposition. FORD LOOK AT THE CRAPPY ADDS FOR THE MONDEO AND THE FG !!! Thats why the Mondeo isn't selling.!!!!
