Rosco it's the flange size that changes, standard cats are 2.25', which is a restriction on a 2.5 exhaust.

Should be fine on your car, won't make a huge difference though. If you're running rich due to big cam/bad tune (raises hand) it may kill the cat pretty quickly though.

Thanks

BUT the size question is more in relation to the actual size of the total cat, i dont want it to protude any lower than my current cat and exhaust system.

IIRC cat sits lower with extractors as its in a diff place due to extractor length

Try again

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...10#post2272810

They are EPA and OBD2 approved cat's are are metal core, and can be fitted to any late model ford, metal core cat's flow approx 40% more than ceramic core cats, and i believe the magnaflow metal core cats are a lot hardier to rich mixtures etc. (some other brands had problems with the part that holds the core into the case)

And are physically smaller in size than a normal ceramic cat, but i can't tell you how much smaller in height cause the website doesn't list it and i don't actually have one here to measure.

ok found it, they are 4inch high. And are 200 cell per inch insteal of 400 cell per inch that a normal ceramic cat is, meaning half the cell's per inch = a lot less restriction.

Here's an ebay link to one for more info and shows pic of 3inch.

Just thought i better add, this group buy price is obtain by from bulk buying them, when all payments are receive i go down and purchase them all. I plan on ending this at the end of the month, at which time i then have to go thru every pm and payment and sort thru who gets what and where too etc.

So could everyone buying them please pm me in one pm, what you want, your full name and address.

This way i can delete any questions after i have answer them and keep myself more organised, if im more organised then you get your cat's quicker.
