What do you guys think of this? It seems ok but very expensive. Im not sure if iits really worth it or if they would even fit very well.

Yeah I thought it seemed expensive for 'look like' leather. Then in the description he explains its made from pvc+leather... im asssuming more pvc then anything else. Then again I think a leather conversion would be around the 2k+ mark.

That is the ugliest seat cover i've ever seen. $550 for something that will make your car look trashy. I think the standard ford cloth trim is far more classy than that. I hope he never sells a single seat cover.

some of them dont look too bad but some look shocking..... like the light blue example!

you'd wanna make sure they wont look just like seat covers... id imagine some modifications will need to be made to them once you get the covers

Agreed. Expensive and illfitting pvc... just add neons.

I wouldn't buy them for my car, for what it's worth...

If they are custom fit, and they come in 60/40 split for the rear seat and separate pieces for the side bolsters, then I can't see how these are much different from getting the seat retrimmed. The leather/PVC combo is usually leather on the hard wearing surfaces (ie the bits you sit on), with PVC/vinyl on the sides and back. Our lounge suite at home is the same, and it is very hard to tell the difference - even after 5 years.

$550 is a bit much, but at around $2k cheaper than a "proper" leather interior, it's not a bad option for those on a "budget".

I think that those who haven't seen or tried these, should do so first before bagging them. You are the same sort of people who 200 years ago (or how ever long ago it was) that would have scoffed at any suggestion that the world is round.

I wasn't bagging them, just saying I wouldn't put them on my car - I'd prefer a nice set of mint condition velour seats personally, or if I had a faster car, a nice set of aftermarket "racing" seats.

Well I was. So ner to JC. I agree that not everyone can afford leather, but seriously, they are disgraceful. Its like saying I could't afford Neons for my car so I used Christmas lights instead.

Those aren't bad, but if you're going to spend that much....may as well go get leather seats instead... =)

Not sure if this is with all seat covers...

But if you ever take your car in for some welding attension make sure you take em' off...

Step bro had all black seat covers with ford logos an although the welder put wet cloth everywhere 1 single spark made the seat cover light up like throwing a match on a fire. He cut a piece off and put a lighter under it and it went to really hard plastic, makes you think....would almost be the same if you drop your cigaret on the seat covers.
