All fluids get changed every 12 months when I am on my Xmas break. My car only does between 2000 and 4000km per year so I do not see the point of changing it more often than that.

The log books recommend 10,000k's and some newer models 15,000k's. 5,000k's is pretty cautious but when it comes to your pride and joy thats fair enough. 5,000k's is the recommended change for turbo cars like skyline's and that crap! Really it depends how you drive the car, if ya take the car to the track and flog it all day it's recommended you change the oil the next day, so as a daily driver relatively stock car the logbook recommendation would be more than sufficient.

We don't do the kays in both of ours ,so I do them every 6 months
But my work car is done by the book (not my choice) which is every 30,000 kays or 12 months
