The boss 260 was always better on paper than real life performance wise. I remember when they came out. 260kw seemed huge compared to the ls powered Commodore and the 220kw xr8 it was replacing. I still remember how disappointed I was with the performance times. Boss 290 is where they get interesting, for me anyway.
