Deceased estate sale. Listing for a neighbour who is short on finer details atm.
Basically, 2000 AU Fairmont Sedan (Burgundy) ~200ks Rego until 1/4/24 (Sold as is or plateless when expired) Won’t start… starter makes a ‘sizzling’ sound. 🫣 Normally runs perfectly well, problem occurred after new battery install. Make of it what you will. Faded paint. Normal bumps and scrapes for a 70+ yo driver. Suspect very easy k’s. Bits and bobs will need attention. I have no idea what its worth. Sensible offers welcome.

Sorry, for some reason I can't edit my OP, vehicle is Frankston, VIC.
Happy to go-between information. Inspection encouraged. And, its more about 'expressions of interest' atm than firm offers.

You'll need to put up some photos of the car.

Sorry one and all...
Ok, apart from the boot lid, the starter issue, a few dings and the need for a good tub, I know its had a very easy life, less than 200 kilometres/week and has always been parked, 95% of it, under cover at home. I mean, checkout the clarity of the headlights. Seat covers since new, dash mat... On the flipside, it won't turn-over(starter?), bootlid paint is cactus, a couple of dings/scrapes on the wheel arches, RH boot strut broken from the body, boot struts are cactus... there might be more, but the folks selling it are decent people, they have sold the house and need it gone, pronto. As I said, inspection encouraged/advised. I'm sure $1000.00 would secure it. But, as I said, I have no idea of its value or actual history. Sorry, but if this ad is breaking some Forum rules, please remove it and it can go to the wreckers, as planned.
