Therefore, it seems I need both mufflers. Does this mean I need an entire exhaust sytem from the motor back? And what is it likely to cost?
Please forgive my being a mechanical retard. I am anything but handy. This forum seems to be a very good source of help for owners so I thought I'd ask. :voldar02:

Welcome to the forums, you've asked the question in the right place. If you have multiple leaks from your exhaust you will be better off replacing it but you will only need to replace it from the catalytic conveter back. All you need to decide is whether you want to retain a stock system or replace it with a performance exhaust which will improve performance and fuel economy. Price will vary from place to place but for a good quality and well priced system for a 6 I believe you can't go past a redback system.
