I know a handful of Titanium owners, and about half of them have done it as well (generally those who use a socket set & breaker bar, rather than the factory brace).

Never had an issue until now and I have had the car since new. It would not have been an issue unless the Tyre retailer didn’t do a poor job in the first place.
