Yes, a generally quiet dog is best, so the only time they realise that he's there is when they've already broken in and he's chasing them down the street. Don't want a dog that barks and warns them. More expensive-yes, but less fun, especially if you can catch the moment on security camera's. Don't want the dog hurt though.
