I have determined through further investigation that the negative dimmer line is not getting passed to the clock loom. This is why I don't have any illumination. For now I have made up an adapter that simply grounds the illumination line. It means of course that the clock will always be fully illuminated regardless of the level of the rest of the instrumentation but I can live with it until I can be bothered removing the
ICC again to figure out a proper solution.
