Our Mondeo is the first car I have driven in 48 years with the indicator lever on the left yet I'm finding it the 'natural' side for me. Right from day one I have had no problem with it - only hitting the right-hand lever a couple of times.
Yet when I drive my Laser now (which is most of the time - the Mondeo is my wife's car), I quite often hit the left-side lever.
(Our Mondeo is an auto.)
