Another popular app is Torque Pro. It has a much better user interface IMO, but the PIDs were written for the US fords, so some of them don't work unless you know how to modify the formula....but that gets risky!
It does connect quickly, but takes maybe 10 seconds to sync with the app. All I've done so far is check the reason for the CEL but I will play with it some more at the weekend.
