I have done 8000k's since last Nov and about 5000k of this would be peak hour driving.
I am averaging 8.0 litres per 100km.
It's pretty good. I have noticed on highways it'll average in the high 5's or low 6's, but in peak hour bumper to bumper it average's high 8's. It's a large car and doesn't like being idle.
If the dumb-*** Govt put in a tunnel between the Eastern and City Link I'd be home and hosed. Working in Kew I have to go through Carlton to get on the freeway and it's cactus since Eastlink opened.
You know why they won't do it - because it'll take traffic away from Burnley/Domain tunnels and Transurban wouldn't be happy.
