Best fix for water falling on your head from boot is to pull out rubber grommets that are in the bottom of the boot panel, that way MOST of the water will drain out rather than tip on your head

Also pull out the back one of the spare tyre area as well and it will pay to check your jack hasn't rusted up as mine did once
