I am after any more info on an XY ute a relative of mine now owns. It was featured in Street Machine in 1994 and was also at Summernats 7 the same year. I have spoke to the builder of the ute and he sold it to the late Peter Vicary of Gulf Western Oil fame around 2002 or 2003. I have contacted Ben Vicary (Peter's son) and he didn't know a lot about it. He seems to think Peter sold it around 2004.
I believe Peter Vicary may have also taken it Eastern Creek drag way and used it as his tow car, towing his drag car from the end of the strip back to the pits.
This is where we need any more information.
The ute is currently in W.A and has been for around 4 or 5 years that we know off. Engine now has Alloy AFD
4v's, TFC intake and Demon carb. Now has an auto gear box but still has nine inch diff. Also has different wheels to the Street machine Article.
