It's a terrible situation to be in Gypzy.
We had something similar with my mother in law who was only 59!
My wife and I have discussed euthanasia and 'do not resus' situations with our sons (30 and 23yo). They know what our wishes are and are on board with our decisions.
In fact, both have made the same decisions off their own bat.
I will admit that our decisions were influenced by my many years working with people with severe disabilities, so maybe we have a different outlook to others.
