The XE seems to be the hot ticket.
The B cam is rubbish. And there is no need to idle around 1000rpm. My cam is a custom hydraulic roller from FTI and it idles at 800 no problem. I used Comp gold 1.7 rockers. Quality product, no idea why someone has told you to stay away from them.
