Loved it. Food at the Dragon Lady was Luke warm but the rest was excellent. The main part of Bass Straight was ok, but the closer to Adelaide we got the rougher it seemed to be. Apparently a lot of passenger and crew were affected although wife and I were ok.
Worse part was after making our way back to Sydney we decided to spend the night. This morning we received a call that a routine procedure my adult son had yesterday had a complication that resulted in the anesthetist using all her training to save him. Vocal cords spasmmed which then allowed a negative pressure aodema to occur. He spent the night and today in ICU on a respirator. This is the third time a standard procedure has nearly turned fatal. He didn’t tell us he was having anything done as it’s routine.
Quick trip to Canberra before finally getting home this evening. Back to Canberra tomorrow
