Xr gt's are rare compared to a 65 mustang. The mustang is much more identifiable i think then an old falcon, but im very much a falcon bloke. 4 doors is more then 2. So im split on this one.
This XR isnt a GT. But value wise its similar to the Mustang. The 289 while wheezy is still ok in the right code and light weight body of the mustang. That said, Im not racing either so it's fairly moot. However, you comment on the mustang being more identifiable is something that resonates me.

I love my falcons, always have. But the chance to own a Mustang also is a tough one.
