Default no user manual for au2 falcon

hi, first time here and wondering if any one can help? i have just purchased a 2000 au2 sedan and it didn't have a owner manual with it. every time I turn off the ignition there is a flashing red hand with a car in the middle of it on the dash board, can any one tell me what this means. Thanks..

It means the car is immobilised. It's the smartlock warning (for thieves) - I guess the equivalent of the red flashing LED in an aftermarket system. So, the flashing is normal.
