I was at the show that year and it certainly looked fantastic, pink paint included!
Ah yes, that interior, Id forgotten about that.
The Pink on White certainly made an impression. Dont think I could live with either but it does stand out

They weren't that bad. Certainly no worse than any Japanese style crewcab of the era. The rear seat leg room only suffered if the front seats were all the way back. There was so much room in the front that this was rarely necesarry.

Is that correct ? Holden didn't get climate control until 1990 (VN II Calais & VQ Statesman/Caprice).

When was Ford's first ? I thought it was Feb '88 (EA I Fairmont Ghia) or Oct '89 EA II Fairmont Ghia.
