So finally i have seen an EL on ultra lows with 17s. How far do your rear tyres sit in the guards? Looks sweet dude!

Also, how much are a good set of swaybars?

after dropping the commodore 80mm you still had 100mm+ clearance under the car ???

HSVETAR, get some pics when you get the UL's in!

not the best example, but you can see the back lift.

i have another photo somewhere which is side on, and you would think i have raised suspension

yes i still had 115mm clearance from the bottom of the flange from both extractors. it wasnt a new piece of . it was an 81 sle, v8. it woulda killed my el in a straight line, but handling wise it was a pig.

IRS cars dont exactly have "give" either, the diff is mounted to the chassis with only urethane or rubber bushes between them.

I take it the Falcon solid rear setup would be better for launching?

i'd think it'd be better for take off with the right setup (non-irs). if the car squats down, it'd be losing power wouldnt it? some physics crap

no you would be getting more power hard to the ground meaning less wheelspin. mines on ultralows and modified springs in rear. rides fine wit heavy duty pedders shocks in rear and lowered pedders struts in front.
