Cheers for the comments fellas!

To answer a few questions;
-it's a 4 speed BTR.
-I would love nothing more than to keep the EL, but it's not really possible.
-The BA is stock as a rock and will remain that way for at least a few months :Up_to_som
-DRHEMI: Not the same car.
-Jack: Any time, mate!
-Not sure what to do with the plates yet.

Ash

Never say never, but yeah it would have to be a pretty special V8 to lure me back ;)

While we're talking about insurance Just Car quoted me $1900 and $1900 excess for my stock EB XR6 with catback exhaust. That was last year when I was 18. AAMI wouldnt even give me insurance as I'm a P plater with an XR6.

Ahh another E-Series member movin' onto B-Series. I feel your pain with gettin rid of the EL Kenaz, I hated having to get rid of my EF! But its all for the better, sink $4000 into it and you too can have 300rwkW no worries ;)

Premo sound? Leather?

Cheers mate!

No options unfortunately :( The only thing I miss from the EL is the automatic climate control. I can live without leather 300rwkW sounds good, but I'm honestly still coming to terms with the stock output.

Everyone else, take the insurance talk to another thread please

No options! Damn, well as long as you like it matey Thats the main point! You'll come to grips with the stock output real quick I'll tell you that... however, its taken a year and a half of ownership to get to this stage, so I'm sure you'll get there. The key to it is 42lb injectors, upgraded valve springs, flash tuner and custom tune, fuel pump and a good intercooler (PWR is hell easy to install yourself) and your set!
