If anyone wants to get a message to any of those attending the La Porchetta dinner leave it here and I'll check before I head out about 7:00pm and pass them on.
The same applies for Sat, I'll check here before I leave.
... I live closest and dont have ANYTHING like B2TF has to do

Totally agreed TIKFD6 and big_pete. (I even scored a cushy job in the shade, flogging raffle tickets.)

Now b2tf & Mrs b2tf have time for that nervous breakdown that they've both been putting off for the last 4 months or so

Damn fine Job Aust. When do we start planning for next year? :

Well done to Austin and everyone else involved.

Congratulations to Austin for all the hard work that he put in to making this show a success. Plenty of cars, fine weather and great showing of fords. It's no easy job to arrange a show like this.

It was also nice to meet a few new faces and catch up with a few old names. Also well done to everyone else behind the scene's.

Time for a well deserved break Austin. Well for a few days until you have to get back to work organising 2006 :

Thumbs up Afd

Hi from Nargee - got home at 2.30am this morning - had a great run back with no traffic - only passed about 6 trucks and no-one passed me at all. A really good time to travel - bit tired this morning.

Thanks to Austin and the team for putting on a great day and a good selection of fords to view - great weather but f.... me the heat - I think I had a bit of sun stroke.

Look forward to the next event in 2006

ciao - James

Well it's all over now, Im sunburnt as hell and very, very tired.

But it was worth it.

First of all let me please say a HUGE thankyou to everybody who made the effort to come to the day, a special mention goes to Daryl (Red06) who drove all the way from QLD to be with us on the day, and also to Gary (Laminge) for going to the trouble of trailering the Minginator up for the show.
Thanks also to everybody from the forums - John and Carol and Andrew, Rod, Mark, Maurie and the boys, Team Bucknaked, Pearly and Ms. Pearly, Jeff and Nicole (who went out of their way to pick up our plates, thanks guys), Mel (who drove the 4WD EL all the way), Matt (great to see you again mate, tahnks for the posters but Im getting my new car first), Danny (Sadie the [constantly] cleaning lady), Adam, Clint (who was having traction issues outside The Lawson, hope ya get it fixed mate :togo: ), Darky, Steve and Jason Fomr Streetfords (thanks for bringing the BF, even if it was filthy! , Ashley (will get that bodykit soon mate), Rob and Tanya, Bev and Dave, Chief and Luke (even though you only had to drive 5 minutes down the road), Dennis (hope the car gets fixed soon mate) Dave and Bron (you won my Ambrose picture dammit!), Roger, Maxine and Tahlia, and Gary and Bev who were the lone reps from FXR6T.com.

Im sorry if ive forgotten anybody but it was great to have such a big forums presence here over the w/e, meet everybody and put faces to names.

The weather was good, if not a little too good, I am very, very sunburt and I know im not the only one! Better than rain though.
I thought the venue was good but I dare say we will look at another one for next time.

I must say a very big thankyou to teesha (mrs b2tf) and Mel for getting in and helping out HEAPS on the day. Teesha did an awesome job running around and doing raffle tickets and whatever else that needed doing. Thanks also to all who cooked, cleaned, setup etc etc.

Thanks to our sponsors except Hillis Ford who can get screwed. Big thanks to Rob from Shannons who has been vinolved and supportive of the day since we thought of the idea, its great to have Shannons on board.

Highlights for me were having the privelige of being able to rev the snot out of the Minginator (godaaaaaaammmmmmmmmm), and going for a drive with Danny in the GT-P on Saturday night - thanks mate I really, really enjoyed it - you should be very proud of that car, it is IMMACULATE!
I think Melz enjoyed it too :

Buying Milk with Gary at coles while searching for DVD players was "interesting", dont quite think the checkout girl knew what was happening.

The Coco Pops and Apple Juice suggestion is still evidently on my 'to do' list too.....

There were undeniably a few little hiccups in the day, unfortunately they happen but here's hoping next yr we can do even better. From what Im told though most people who attended hada great time.

We'll do it all again in 2007!

Cheers and Thanks again,

what more can I say but a bloody ripper of a day....

got to laugh at the poor territory with average of 24/100 for the weekend over some 900ks

Good to me meet some of the people that make the forums what they are, and some babies as well

Hows the puppet Mel?

Thanks to the usuals, big thanks to B2TF and Mrs B2tf, without you guys it would not have been worth the effort!

Oh thanks to Jeff and Nicole for driving 3 hours out of their way to pick up the plates, and keeping us amused during the weekend, and for putting up with a drugged out minge!

Mark for spending a couple of hours under the table.

lastly, Laminge Lubricants was a huge hit!

Nah that was actually clean, well clean compared to the cruiser we passed on the way up from sydney!

Washing it would have gone against my lazy bastardo religious beliefs.... besides, all people had to do was imagine the clean car next to it with the new tail lights to see what i would be like clean... lol

yaaaaaaawn.. it has been pretty full on and we only got home about an hour ago.
Very well done to Austin ..a great turnout and a great day.
There were plenty of great cars there and all were a credit to their owners.
Special mention goes to the old fart who came up and started whining that Ford made more than Falcons and that these shows tend to be a Falcon show. He didn't take kindly to being told that it's up to the non Falcon owners to bring their cars to the All Ford day... as it wasn't an All Falcon day.
Getting up there was an adventure.. I have now seen the Canargo Pub that we all see stickers of on the B&S utes. By the way, I am no longer comnplaining about the taxes we pay in Vic.. the roads in NSW just suck the big one. The parts of the newell hwy and connecting roads were just abysmal. Enough of the political statement.
I have some pictures that need to be resized and then I will post 'em up.

I take my hat off to Austin and Teesha for all your effort, you’ve done a great job, and for everyone else, a great big thanks. I had a great day and certainly look forward to the next one. It was great to put faces to names.
The cars were awesome, however, it’s the people that make these events so good.

PS. Sorry about all the crap jokes at dinner and thanks to Mark for all your advice with my new diet.

Cheers, Danny

Hi Austin, just got out of bed, got home this morning at 2.30am - ended up not going to A1 at Eastern Creek - must have got a bit of sun stroke as I was not feeling crash hot all day. Got a couple of jobs to finish on the car this week, then off to the All Ford Day in Canberra. Are you coming over to Canberra for the Show N Shine event, should be a great show being associated with the Marques in the Park event on the same day.

Thanks for all your assistance over our stay, great job with the show.

Ciao - James
