Considering one was a senior conny I doubt it, they normally just want to go home after they have been in long enough that they are a senior conny.

I'll let you know tomorrow!

I'll try a big 200 metre power skid in front of one and see if they take the bait :

This is just EVIL!
Mind you, would probably outpace a freaking VE SS with ease, these things are very fast.

Yes, I only mentioned a u/c. Normal QLD Gov't Cars are just, well government cars!

& that was the plate. I just couldn't remember the letters. I knew there was an R but not the rest.

I seen a black U/C Subaru Forrester pull someone over on citylink not too long ago.

Also Hummer H3 police cars 2 years ago at work crusing around through the carpark.

XR-CHIEF & Left. I'm sorry I thought we were in Oz not England.

Very rarely heard them called that here. They're usually just refered to as 'plain' cars.

Maybe it's a Qld thing

But in the UK a Q-car isn't an undercover car anyway is it? My understanding was that it meant a high end / performance 'saloon car', that's tasteful but non-too flambouyant, for bachelors or something along those lines.

thats right, it's just a sleeper, but the Q-car name was taken from the Q-planes used in WW2, unmarked planes flying behind enemy lines, all in the link i posted.

Sorry we (Truckies) just call them 'plain'... Probably because 'unmarked' has too many syllables for us to pronounce

A yes you guys make me laugh
That is half the fun in using these
The new digital radios mean smaller aerials
New version LED emergency / visability lighting is smaller , brighter and less power hungry and less internally reflective

guys watch out for one of 3 VE SS (one silver, one black, and one purple) and an ego FG XR8 sitting in the driveways along the western port highway in VIC, they also love to sit in both Skye and Carrum Downs fire stations during the day, there are also a couple marked cars doing the same spots.

At carrum downs they hide behind the bush to get you as you get round the corner.

At Skye they wait for you to come over the hill.

Cronulla Police have a Suzuki Jimny. I'd love to see that outrun anything else but itself.

The green F6's belong to the Anti-Hoon Squad, they did a two week stint out here in Moree late last year. I'm mates with a couple of the Highway Patrol Officers, and they told me that's who they were.

They apparently got a young P-Plater, in a VT v6, in a drag race down past our BP Servo

That's the metallic pink one right??? Nothing screams 'force' than a pink Jimny. Might even be a soft top from memory...

Saw another few around today.

Red VE SS in Sutherland. Patrolling the school and 50 zones along Waratah Rd and Toronto Parade down the back of Sutho, Kirrawee and Jannali. Had the plate aperture LED's and did have extra aerials on the back. Now if only all the soccer mums (and everyone one else for that matter) would get the hell of my bumpers when I do the limit though there all would be sweet. The cops are all over those hilly 50 zones like a fat kid on cake! So easy to do 70 without looking or accelerating, so everyone does. And then gets all uppity if someone does the limit and they have to use the brake or gear down for once.

Then saw an orange F6 with LED's which had a LandCruiser pulled over on the M5 East.

Only a 45 min drive, a few cars about then.

PS. Didn't the patrols north of Sydney use to have Cordia turbo's? Running duties on the F3?
