Sound Deadening Advice

Just bought a few rolls of 'super sound deadener' from Jaycar. Where would be the best place to start in my GS for the best results? 20" rims and coil-overs and loud exhaust has pretty much made it impossible to use bluetooth effectively in the car at ~100km/h or under accelleration, so while I understand I won't be able to completely keep the sound out, I'd like to at least do something about it.

I'm guessing inside door trims and under the carpets?

Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

That stuff is new, they didn't carry it when I did my FG.

Get more, lots more as you'll be covering the floor, door skins, boot cavity, boot lid and roof skin if you want your efforts to be effective.

Do your boot floor and door skins first and see how that goes. Basically all around your door speakers. Remember, you do NOT need full coverage! From memory any more coverage than 40% is barely noticeable and as such, a waste.

If its still bad, attack the wheel arches.

If the rolls were purely the butyl sheets, I'd agree 100%. But as these rolls have the acoustic liner foam glued on top, full coverage is preferable.
