Default Need help with whining in the audio

Hey guys,

I need some help to remove the whining noise in the audio from the alternator. If i turn the amp up past 1 on the gain i get the whining noise from the alternator really bad.

if i remove the rca's from the amp i can turn the gains up to full blast and the whining has gone. So the whining is coming from the rca's which could either be in the convertor i have but I highly doubt it or the ICC which is more likely considering it is a common problem.

I was wondering if there is a way to clean up the noise in the icc. For a normal head unit you would be able to install a line filter inline but because this is not a normal head unit and is part of the icc this is not possible. Is it???

Can you help? Is there a way to remove the ground loop in the icc?
