Default Ford Falcon (2004) Punctured Boot Lid

I met with an unfortunate accident of bumping onto a metallic fire extinguisher case which puncture the boot lid. Would like to know what are the options as well as the approximate cost of repair? Car is a 2004 model. Thanks!

Must have been some bump!... Looks like someone took an axe to it.

Mate... Get a new boot lid from the wreckers and have it painted, that would be your best option.

weld it up, bog over, primer and paint. all these things are optional, depending on your Bogan level.

Really unfortunate ..I owned a EF Futura some time back and that copped a dented whack soon after I bought it . Found the damage after returning to the car parked all day in the city . Left a large obvious dent/ crease which annoyed me no end . Luckily a friend was a former panel beater , still had a lot of gear and one Saturday he did a cheap repair for me ..Hope you find a similar solution soon because it'll drive you crazy every time you look at it .
