Capris have sky-rocketed in value over the last few years. I bought my GT V6 nearly 6 years ago for $3700 and Shannons valued it for $10,000 late last year and I haven't done much to it in that time.
Generally, 4 cylinders sell for a bit less. A good quality 1600 GT should get $6000-8000. Whereas a V4, because of its rarity, should nudge $10,000 for a Capri collector.
You've got to be weary of buyers, though. The V4 came with a few nice bits, like the low ratio atlas diff and a bell-housing that allows V6 owners to bolt on a direct-shift 4 or 5-speed....So, you'd need to keep the price relatively high to stop the thing from being pillaged of its bits.
Picks would be nice.....

lol, sorry to disapoint but we only just sold our v4gt. and yes, it was a waist of time selling it. i will put it that way.

we got a lot less than 10, and it was in good condition. good luck. but finding a buyer will be very very hard.

I think when it comes down to it, a car is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

So finding a buyer that will give you what your asking may take some time.
If you are looking for 10 grand for your car for example, you can probably find a buyer out there who will buy it, but be prepared to wait...and have plenty of patience lol :voldar02:
