Default ISC Cleaning :\

Well, over the last few days my cold idle has been getting worse and worse, until today when i had to pump the accelerator to stop it from stalling...It seems that all the symptoms lead to a blocked ICS...so this afternoon, I tried to clean it out, and this is what I found...

I tried following the pictures on fordmods, but they are too blurry to see...so this is what I want to know 1) how do i unhook the electrical connector so that i can move the ISC away from the engine bay?
and 2) Are the ports on the engine side really really blocked or are they shaped like that?

By the way it's a 3.9 MPFI...Thanks
